The Alfa Romeo Diva was launched as a concept car at the Geneva Motor Show in 2006. The design of the car was created as a collaborative project between Alfa Romeo’s Centro Stile, Fiat’s Elasis and Franco Sbarro’s design school Espera. The car is largely based on the legendary Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale and is equipped with butterfly doors.
The signature Alfa Romeo grille and nose is slightly modified in design to match the Formula 1 asthetics. The Diva is built on the chassis of the Alfa Romeo 159 and is powered by a 3.2 L (3,179 cc) V6 engine and a 6-speed robotized manual gearbox. The Alfa Romeo Diva’s powerful engine and the revolutionary aerodynamic design helped it achieve a top speed upto 270 kilometers/hour. Image Credits @ Fucina Editore
