Before becoming the more serious looking coupe, Brera was launched as a concept car at the 2002 Geneva Motor Show. Compared to the executive coupe style look with more robust edges, the Brera concept was a more streamlined and sleek sports car look with scissor doors. The concept version was designed by the legendary Giorgetto Giugiaro, courtesy his very own Italdesign Studios.
The Sporty looking car was powered with a Maserati V8 engine that produced 390 HP. The chassis used was largely based on Maserati and the body is majorly comprised of toughened carbon fiber and some of the most advanced materials. The signature grille, the special 3-light headlight units and the 147 hatchback inspired rear end makes this car an Alfa Romeo Signature. Unlike the modern day concept cars, the Brera concept car is fully functional and drive-able. Image Credits @ Infoway
