Based on the Alfasud platform, Alfa Romeo Caimano was designed by the legendary designer Giorgetto Giugiaro and was unveiled at the Turin Motor Show in 1971. The car’s revolutionary design displays the crazy design asthetics of the 70’s and features an unusual dome shaped windshield which also doubled as the entrance to the vehicle. The spoiler at the back of the car can be set in 4 different positions and is controlled from inside the car.
The Caimano is powered by an 1186 CC Boxer Engine with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The engine produces a maximum power upto 63 HP at 6000 RPM and a front engine, rear wheel drive layout. Image Credits @ Woronov
